Unrecognized controller and keyboard

Hi Everyone
My controller (Hama Black Force, a USB Version of an PS2 wired controller) won't be recognized by Batocera 5.10 for Odroid XU4. So I tried to controll Batocera by keyboard (also USB wired) but only the enter key (opens the menu for selecting Kodi, the controller and system settings and so on) and the cursor keys for up/down working. It's not possible to select my choice or open up the submenus.
Please can anyone be so kind and give me a trick to bring the controller, or at least the keyboard to work ?

I tried it and it was my fault !! I searched for the IP to connect via ssh and haven't found the address of the XU4. So, I found out that I've forgot plug in the ethernet cable to the Odroid XU4. Rebooting and I'd run evtest and it found a DragonRise Inc. Generic USB Joystick (it's the controller I've connected) and I can configure the controller 🙂
I learned the hard way that's not possible to configure a controller without ethernet 😉
By the way, I can translate the wiki into german language. I've got not that much experiance with all the technical of Batocera Linux (booted up today, the first time in my life) but I think enough for a translation into german language (not the kind of translation e.g. Google will offer).
