Batocera is a generic operating system made for many platforms. If a given platform needs specific tweaks to get its optimal performance, Batocera is not the OS you’d want to use for it. The lack of overclocking options is just one example of this.
The reason you would want to use Batocera on the gameforce would be for syncing up your game files between your main PC build and this, or perhaps for netplay compatibility. But if those aren’t on your radar, there’s really not much reason to.
