ROM files extensions

Hi Guys

I have a question about the ROM files extensions.
For example the _info.txt on System Nintendo 64 says files extensions accepted are “.z64 .n64 .v64 .zip .7z” so I compress all roms to zip but when I try to play appeas a messagens saying the core dont permit this extension.
I tried the same rom with extension .n64 and, every thing works fine.
How can I fix that ?

Either try with another emulator/core (advanced system options) or just unzip all your games.
Not every n64 emulator/core likes compressed files.

Yep,I would recommend for N64 keep them unzipped cause as joinski said,not all N64 emu options seem to run N64 unzipped. Not only for PC but other OS systems Batocera runs on.
