Intermittent Freeze-ups in UI

Hey.

I’ve had a lot of difficulties getting Batocera to run from a USB Flashdrive.
When it boots up is start out fine, then I get smaller freeze-ups, which gets progressivly longer and more frequent as time goes by. This happens both in the main UI and File Manager (F1).
I’m starting to think it’s ny flashdrive, but from what I’ve read here on the forum it should meet the spesifications.

I’m using a Kingston DataTraveler 100G3 128GB drive. (USB 3.0)

Does anyone have any experience with this flashdrive?
What flashdrives do you guys have that you know works well for Batocera?

More information needed:
Which version of batocera exactly?
What are the hardware-sepcs of your machine?

And did you already try to rule out other factors?:
Do those freezes also happen with other OS (like Windows for example)?
Do those freezes also happen on other machines (PCs/Notebooks)?
Do those freezes also happen with other flashdrives/harddrives?

I also bought it and tried it, but it is not suitable for batocera because writing is slow.

To rule out, if the flashdrive is the cause is very easy:
Just try with another flashdrive or external harddrive.

Hi, I need help, I’m trying to install batocera to run on my pc, but it always crashes when I press the F1 key or when I load a new game, I’ve already changed the HD, SSD and I was curious to know if that not some motherboard configuration, my machine is a Machinist motherboard with a Xeon E5 2670 v3 Processor, with 16gb DDR4 ECC 2666mhz server memory?

Do you have any idea what it could be?
