Hi,

Every time i am playing a game in retro system like sega, snes , Neo Geo etc etc.

a press of A action button brings up the retro arch system menu, cant play any games thank to this.

I don’t know, i haven’t found where to set the Retro Arch menu buttons.

Anyone know where to set the HotKey button for for Retro Arch system Menu?

What kind of controller do you use? Which button did you map as Hotkey in ES? (Controller Settings)

I am using a FlyDigi Apex II, i cant remember that i set the Retro Arch System Menu button at all!

Okay, i don’t know this kind of controller. But in EmulationStation in the Main Menu you can go to controller settings and map the buttons. There you have to choose a button for the hotkey at the end.

I have map the buttons, still when i press a button in Snes game or any other game in NES i still get that Retro Arch System menu up all the time!

Possibly, you have mapped A as your hotkey. So when you press A, you’re pressing both the hotkey and the A button, which is the shortcut to open up the menu.

The simple solution is to map the hotkey to select, or another free button, like the configuration menu suggests that you do. This is the one accessed from Main menu > Controller & Bluetooth settings > Map a controller.
