2nd controller has no input on Batocera v33 or latest.

Hi,

I have batocera v33 on a RPI4, I can connect a 8bitdo sn30 pro via bluetooth and can configure the mappings however when I connect the 2nd controller (same model), it connects but has no input. Whichever controller connects first will work but the 2nd controller doesn’t. This is the same with 2× 8bitdo wireless receiver and 2 xbox series x controllers.

Tried v35 but get the same issue, any ideas? Tried rebooting on each pairing but made no difference.

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Having exactly the same issue with a two wired controllers on RPI4.

Both of them individually works. The system recognize I have two controllers. But I am able to use only one.

I’ve tested with 2 wired, wireless dongle and Bluetooth. Controllers with 8bitdo pro 2 and xbox series x controllers. They all have the same issue, whichever controller connects first will work but any 2nd controller connects after regardless wired/wireless/bluetooth has no input but is recognised. Maybe its a configure issue? I haven’t tried a different image as I like the sleekness of batocera but 2nd controller issue I cant figure out.

Tried pairing with all modes on the 8bitdo (S,A,X,D), all connects and sees the controller but no input for 2nd controller.

Cracksta That’s interesting : people on rpi4 have the same problem with light guns too. I believe this is a deeper problem then, linked to configgen or input configuration. Worth investigating.

I have the same issue on my RPI4 with wired an bluetooth controllers. Tested with Xbox, Switch and PS3 controllers. First works perfect. Second is connect successfully but has no input. Not even a mapping is possible. Is there a known workaround?
