[5.11|RPi3] Config lost after Reboot

I tried today the latest version of batocera.linux (5.11). It seems to work fine, but after reboot the whole configuration (volume, language, wifi, controller) is lost - it's like a fresh installation.

What is the reason for this - what can I do?

in case of error on your usb disk for example, batocera stores user data in memory, not on the disk.
in this case, you loose your data after a reboot.

I'm using an new SD-Card with 32GB memory. I dumped the image with "dd" and started the raspberry pi.
The configuration is working, but after reboot everything is lost again.

Any idea what I can do???

Backup the config file on a computer

connect via ssh, and type df,
check the line with /recalbox/share
can you try with an other sd card too ?

It seems that the isn't expanded to the full size. My SD card has 32GB and there is no partition that has nearly that size.

I thought, that the partitions should be resized at first reboot - correct??? What can i do?

its not related to the size
your /recalbox/share is tmpfs / 128mb
it happends when an error occurs on your sdcard
no partition is resize. anew one is created
generally it happends when you have not wait the end on the first boot
the simplest wait is to reinstall on the sdcard
ican help you by chat too to find the root cause but not this week îm in holidays

I'm having this exact same error.

Used etcher-1.2.1 to burn the 5.11 image in my Sandisk 32GB
Started without errors
Configured wifi
Tested one of the provided games
Rebooted
After reboot my wifi config is gone

Looking at the partitions of the sdcard I get a fat32 one with 1.17 GiB and an "unknown" filesystem with 27.80GiB.

I'll try reburning the image and provide another feedback.

After reburning the image I now see the fat32 partition and an ext4 27.80 GiB one. Seems like it fixed the issue.
