controller configuration not saved

I already do the same thing on other hardware and all work good, but on my raspberry pi3 (clean installation) when i launch a mame rom the system overwrite the input default controller settings, I see a text in the left down corner that say “overwrite loaded configuration”

Someone can help me?

If you have a custom remap file that you no longer want to remove, you can remove it from the system/.config/retroarch/config/remaps folder.

By default, Batocera does not create any remap files, so any files present there would be from your own creation.

Thank you for your answer… but isn’t enough :(

I deleted the file in the folder remap, but it reborn automatically.

However, when i set the controller thru “controller & bluetooth setting” i can move into the menu with the correct buttons, but when i launch a mame rom appear a text in the left down corner that say “configuration override loaded”, then one controller works fine but the other flip the joystick command and change the function of the six buttons.

Do you know where i can disable the configuration override?

Fighting game? You may have turned on the preset fighting game controls in the advanced mame options in ES.

I have the same problem on my notebook… i opend a post in the section standar desktop too.

however with my old usb arcade board it works fine, i think the problem is on the new arcade kit I bought on amazon:

I checked all the connection and seems all ok, I don’t know any test to do.

I wrote to the seller, I hope in his help!

I fixed!!!
It seems that my batocera (maybe all!?) set both the controller with the same configuration of the first controller that press start button. I set the cable between buttons and usb controller at the same position on the usb controller respecting the order 1 2 3 4 etc., I rotated one of the joystick switchs so both are in the same position, and now any controller Batocera select, the other has the same configuration!

I don’t understand what you wrote, but I am glad you found a solution.

I’m still concerned about the “reborn” remap file, that shouldn’t be happening.
