Keyboard not working in GUI

Hi everybody. I'm new to batocera and like it a lot so far. Just one tiny problem occured: I can't use the keyboard to type in text, for example the network settings. I can scroll through the GUI and acces the menus with space and enter though.
Anybody else has these issues?

Having the same problem on 5.20
Really tedious trying to input with the on-screen keyboard, which is impossible to input in a filepath because there's no forward slash on it :S

omg, all you do is press the Select key (B on the gamepad) to allow typing in the text field. I was about to make an entire keyboard .cfg edit to map the keyboard keys back to default input
