controller configuration ever override from mame roms

when i set the controller thru “controller & bluetooth setting” i can move into the menu with the correct buttons, but when i launch a mame rom appear a text in the left down corner that say “configuration override loaded”, then one controller works fine but the other flip the joystick command and change the function of the six buttons.

Do you know where i can disable the configuration override? This happen both raspberry pi3 and notebook with clean installation batocera 35.

I did other test, the problem isn’t batocera, with my old arcade board it work fine, but i need to change it.

I tried to connect one of time the 2 usb cable setting and they work fine, but when I connect both, it’s a mess! One of the two player flip the joystick control and mess the 6 buttons function, not ever the same player. I tried to flip the joystick settings directly in the retroarch throw start+hotkey, in this way the game work find but then i have the wrong controls in the batocera them.

I fixed!!!
It seems that my batocera (maybe all!?) set both the controller with the same configuration of the first controller that press start button. I set the cable between buttons and usb controller at the same position on the usb controller respecting the order 1 2 3 4 etc., I rotated one of the joystick switchs so both are in the same position, and now any controller Batocera select, the other has the same configuration!
