The suggestions by @Atari did not help, I tried choosing Disk, No Disk, and ISO. and the other suggestion to change “Show BIOS bootmenu” to OFF., this may have changed a bit in V36, because all I have is “show BIOS Bootlogo”, and no option of “off”, just Auto, Show, and Skip.
At first I tried a downloaded rom which was only ~1.4GB, and that gave an error “Please insert Playstation format disk” so I copied an actual physical disk using Linux gnome-disks, the size of which is about 2.5GB, that’s what I’m having the trouble with.
I’ve just downloaded another game to try.
I can ssh in, and get the log file if that would help ?
EDIT to add, I downloaded another game “Black” it too gets stuck on the Mem. card, and disk page, well when you click on disk it "goes off for a moment, then returns to same page. I kind of hope there is a fix.
