I have a ten year old HP Pavilion dm1 laptop that I don’t use even though it’s still pretty powerful.
I formatted the main drive to get rid of Windows 7 and installed Batocera.
So now when I power it up, the laptop just boots directly to batocera.
However, it has a tiny, fairly low quality 11″ screen and my objective is to play MAME and Amiga games on my 65″ Samsung smart TV, or at least my 27″ Dell monitor.
But the Batocera laptop will not output any video to my TV and nor will it output video to either my LG or Dell monitors via the HDMI port.
I tried a newer windows 10 laptop and it has no issue outputting to my TV or monitors via HDMI.
Is there anything I can do to get the Batocera laptop to output the screen (and ideally the audio also) to my TV?
