Stutter and lag on a Lenovo mini pc

I installed batocera v31 and now everything works fine! Must have been some sort of compatibility issue.

I’m running batocera v35 on my thinkcentre m73, specs: Intel® Core™ i5-4570T, Integrated 2013 Intel® HD graphics and 8 gigs of RAM.

When I tried out the standalone dolphin emulator all the gamecube games ran full speed on 2x res, and some wii games ran good on 1x res.

But when I used batocera v35, booted from usb, even the dreamcast games started to stutter.. could downgrading to an earlier version be an option? The computer specs does not seem to be an issue, so I was just wondering if there was some issues with the newer version of batocera on my particular computer model?

Grateful for answers, and thanks to the batocera for making an otherwise easy and fantastic os!

In general; as emulation becomes more accurate (ie. runs more games), it becomes more demanding. The differences between v31 and v35 may have just tipped the performance of your computer over the edge, it is a mobile chip with an iGPU after all so it’s impressive it can do 6th gen.
