nadenislamarre You can do it on Recalbox so I guess it's because of Batocera being like a firmware which is really great but have some negatives like this. Being a firmware make the whole system more stable and less conducive to system errors because most of the changes you can do to it resets whenever you restart the whole thing.
I think this should really be added as a feature in the following versions, just like the ability to change the splashscreen. At the very least having a logical order for the consoles. Like brand with the oldest to the newest console, then next brand, etc. Also having handhelds after the primary consoles. Something like that!
