2 Lightguns for 2 Player Games [mame]

For some mame lightgun games, connecting 2 lightguns to play a 2 player game works out of the box (2 crosshairs, both lightguns react) - for others, it doesn’t (2 crosshairs, but P2 is connected to the associated P2 controller and not to the P2 gun?).

Any solutions / settings to solve this?

Do you have example of games?

What is your Batocera version?

What platform are you playing on? PC?

Is this on MAME standalone? libretro-mame078plus?

What guns are you using?

Examples of Games, where in my case only Player 1 Lightgun works as intended, and Player 2 crosshair is only linked to the P2 analog joypad include:

Tut’s Tomb
Invasion - The Abductors

I will add some more later.

I am using v35 with two Wii Romotes on a RPI and tried the available emultors.

Can you try any PSX light gun games to compare? It is a known issue that on RPI4, the second player light gun is not loading properly and acts as the first player.
