Feature request: help overlay to explain the hotkey shortcuts

Hi,
wouldn't it be great if the average user could look up the hotkey shortcuts for save stats and reset look up in the menu or even better as an overlay when the user presses the hotkey button?

To be honest I asked this question already in the recalbox board but the answer was that the "Just print the part of the manual you need and stick it on your screen ?"

I can offer my help for this. I can code a bit (js, php) and can make the graphics for this. Maybe it can be accomplished by just showing a PNG with the instructions while the user presses the hotkey?

ideally, it should appear during the game.
but i don't know if that something easy to do while all emulator have to be patch, or better, a global system must be found (but i've not idea how).
it can be done during the main menu, it would be easier while only one program has to be patched.
something like this is already in my todolist. unfortunnalty, my todo list is just growing everyday and reducing not very often.
