Textures not working in PPSPP?

Hi everyone. I was playing around with texture packs and was trying to set some up for PSP. Followed the instructions on the wiki but no matter what I do it wont load them. I also noticed that when the save new textures is checked off, nothing is being saved. I even tried a fresh install of v35, having that same issue. Manually created the /userdata/saves/psp/PSP/TEXTURES/folder and checked off the settings in the back for the textures. Am I missing something or is this feature broken? Thanks in advance :)

Also verified the folder within (gameID) folder was named correctly.

SOLVED: Not sure why this is happening to all my devices ranging from v34 - v36(beta) but the TEXTURES folder is located in system/configs/ppsspp/PSP/TEXTURES and not the path shown in the wiki. Hope this helps anyone searching for a solution.
