Netplay Text Chat doesn't open

Hi. I’ve been trying to send text messages through Netplay. I tried to configure other keys through Retroarch, but nothing works. Does anybody there know how to solve this? I know netplay works because I receive messages from other users.

Hotkey + (keyboard) “Tilde” key does not bring up the on-screen keyboard while in-game?
(Try holding it down for a few seconds)

mikakunin "Hotkey + Tilde doesn’t work. I have tried several other key combinations, like “Hotkey + a”, to see if the Tilde in my keyboardmap could be the problem. All other functions work normally like Fastfoward or SlowMotion. I also tried to hold the keys longer and it doesn’t work. Do you have any other suspicions on what could be the problem?

I am currently using V36 ×86_64 on an external harddisk.

Do you know if chattext works on other architectures?

In the stable version (v35) at the time of the first question, it worked like the attached image.
In v37beta, there was a problem with the connection with netplay, so I can’t check it. (If you prepare two v37beta and try to connect, for some reason you will get an error that you cannot connect with the old version)

I was able to test with v37beta.
Hotkey + (keyboard) “Tilde” key brought up the on-screen keyboard.
Also, when I changed the key from the “tilde” key to the “o” key, the hotkey + (keyboard) “o” key brought up the on-screen keyboard.
