Hello everyone,
I build a arcade and played many retro games on it, to my suprise i found out that you can even add windows games to batocera i tried to do this i followed the https://wiki.batocera.org/systems:windows page and managed to install the game, when i try to boot the game it sends me to the windows file manager and if i try to boot the game from here the game will boot but i wil only hear the sound of the game and i can use the controls. visually it only shows a black screen around the size of quarter of my monitor. My game was a zip file that extracted from my computer to my usb drive stick. I used the pc folder method combined with this: If the EXE is instead inside of a subfolder, the DIR command needs to be added first. For example, if the game is at Game name.pc/64bit/bin/folder with space in its name/Game name 64-bit.exe
and requires special launch parameters:
DIR=64bit/bin/folder with space in its name
CMD="Game name 64-bit.exe" --fullscreen
My autorun.cmd Looks like this currently:
Dir=drive_z/userdata/roms/windows/Coromon.pc/Coromon.pc
CMD=“coromon.exe” –fullscreen
I tried many other different autorun.cmd but it all had the same outcome
IT did managed to make the <game name>.wine
folder at /userdata/saves/windows/proton/
or /userdata/saves/windows/
.
I think i made a error somewhere or am i forgetting something im new to this i don’t really know what i could do more i looked op some vids and read some pages but could’nt find a solution myself so i hope you guys can help me :)
