PAL Games: 50hz output broken on v.36?

Eventhough i set my PAL roms to run in 1280×720 50hz, they don’t scroll smooth anymore, like they did with v35.

seems like they are still output with 60hz?

And yes, my TV supports 720p50hz output, it worked flawlessly on v35.

I also set the coresponding emulator to PAL region where possible.

Does your TV/Monitor tell/display, on which Hz it runs? What does it say?

joinski Unfortunately no, only that it’s 720p. So it changes resolution at least.

NTSC games scroll buttersmooth fine with 720p60hz, but the equal PAL games set to 720p50hz all stutter like the game is still output in a 60hz container.

fyi: i downgraded to v35 and 50hz output is fine again. PAL games all scroll smooth with video set to 1280×720 50hz.

so something was changed in v36 that i have no clue about 😅
