Kodi useless

Hi, Batocera is great but not that build of Kodi 17.3. Not native kodi repository and every addon I try to install cannot, I receive a message about dependencies. I can´t install any repository from internet. Even I can´t change the skin. As is, this Kodi bringing no addons at all, and impossible to install news, is useless. Thanks anyway for your big job with the rest of the program.

The main problem here is the lack of bundled libraries in the Batocera distribution. As Batocera is based on Buildroot, much of these libraries should be downloaded or even compiled manually, something not suited for beginners. Maybe it would be a good idea to include most commonly used libraries, such as Python's Pillow, ZLib, etc.

That is a bit estrange, I use Kodi all the time on Batocera, but the reason I use it the most is to use the Plex Add-on, Spotify and IPTV, the Add-ons downloads and install fine, the sub downloading add-ons also work great, I am able to change the skin and add new one from the repository no problem, so I don't see how this can be, could it possibly be do to an incompatibility with your hardware?

jendrix don't think so, as I'm using a Rpi 3... I guess it depends on which add-ons you try to use.
