Generic PS3 Bluetooth control with delayed response during game play

Hello,

I am mounting my Raspberry Pi 3B with batocera.linux 5.11. I bought a generic PS3 Bluetooth control and I was able to connect it to my system perfectly, both via USB cable and the native Bluetooth connection of Raspberry.

I now report the problem. When connected via bluetooth, I notice a slight delay between me pressing a control button and executing the command in the game, making it unfeasible to use. But when the control is connected via USB cable, it works perfectly.

Thinking of being some incompatibility between drivers, I already edited the file recalbox.conf, switching between the existing drivers (bluez; official; shanwan), but all presented the same problem.

This problem may be some configuration, or will the problem be my generic PS3 Bluetooth control?

I also have a RPi 3 and also noticed a little bit of input lag with the Pi3 internal bluetooth.
With an external USB-Bluetooth Dongle there is less input lag.
So i suggest, to use an external Bluetooth-Stick instead of the Pi3's internal Bluetooth.

joinski, using the external USB-Bluetooth Dongle you still noticed input delay with bluetooth control?

Is there a significant difference between it and a control with USB connection?

If this is the case, I will not even try to invest in a Dongle, because the result will not be satisfactory.
