So I was noticing a bit of a problem with my xu4 version on batocera with it corrupting on the micro sd cards I would install it on. Did a little bit of troubleshooting and research and found out that xu4s like corrupting micro sd cards and perform much better in eMMC modules. But of course, although I do have one handy, the darn thing doesn't want to format in Windows despite having the eMMC to micro sd adapter. Its highly recommended to format the eMMC in linux.
That's where I thought about the batocera ability to install onto a hard drive comes in handy. Is it possible to install batocera on a micro sd and then have it install itself onto the eMMC and then remove the micro sd card and run from the eMMC?
