DualShock 4 not connecting via bluetooth.

Please help me. I have a DS4 controller and I can use it using wire without issues. But when trying to connect via BlueTooth it just doesn't show up. It shows a message saying working. Please help. I am using a Toshiba laptop with inbuilt Bluetooth adapter. I have installed generic Microsoft adapter.

Which batocera version are you using? the current 5.25 for x86 or x86_64?
And your DS4 are genuine/original Sony Dual Shock 4 controllers or 3rd party ones?
Maybe the built-in BlueTooth Adapter from your Toshiba Notebook is not supported. Could you try with a USB bluetooth-dongle with at least Bluetooth 2.1?

joinski Oh I didn't there was an update. Yesterday I updated it and now it works fine no issues.

Hello! I'm also having trouble pairing with my Dualshock 4 in this Batocera 5.25 version. In my case, I use an HP Pavilion G4-2119br notebook, my joystick is original, and normally paired in version 5.23. I'm only able to use it connected to a USB cable, detail that when I connect via USB, two joystick icons appear in the upper left corner, as if they had two controls connected. Can you help me solve this problem?

What is the issue exactly?
Only that 2 icons appear?
The controller itself works fine or not?
And why do you use it via USB-cable and not wireless over bluetooth?

So, the problem I had with the batocera as I said, was that it did not locate my dualshock 4 via bluetooth. The controller worked fine, but only via USB cable. And, when I connected it with the USB cable (in a strange way) there were 2 control icons in the upper left corner instead of just 1, but that did not hinder the use of the control at all.

These problems that I reported, occurred yesterday (19/04). When I ran the batocera today (04/20), the system went back to work, located my dualshock 4 via bluetooth, and I was able to play. To do the test, I restarted the system a few times and it recognized my control 100% and now everything is working properly.
